Rev/Chaplain Jessica Knight is the Executive Director and Founder of FIRE Revolution Freedom Center and Advocacy for Women Inc. Jessica established FIRE Revolution in 2015 to address the impact a sex trafficking experience can have on an individual as well as the family unit and to bring awareness to the truth of navigating through life after an experience with human trafficking. FIRE's mission to develop a community that supports, loves and accepts victims and survivors in their journey of recovery as well as outreaching to prevent recruitment. FIRE has a large survivor community of both human trafficking and domestic violence doing events and life together. FIRE has a growing survivor advocate team learning and practicing their purpose and establishing their individual voices; making their journey out of the inferno and into a life of freedom. FIRE also has a YouTube channel that provides videos of a unique women's bible study and weekly shorts feturing Jessica and the Ladies of FIRE extending a word of encouragement and empowerment to FIRE's local, national and international Survivor/Advocate Community. Jessica's own personal goals are to continue to grow as an instructor and student in the Israeli Martial Art Krav Maga, assist her church and enjoy the blessings of motherhood.
Jessica has been an Anti-human trafficking advocate for over a decade. She started as a volunteer facilitator at the Phoenix Dream Center's sex trafficking recovery program, which opened the opportunity to become the Outreach Director leading street/strip club outreaches, running a team for the hotline and recoveries assisting victims exit out of a trafficking environment. Jessica's passion to eradicate modern day slavery derives from being the eldest child of a trafficked survivor; Jessica experienced extreme childhood abuse which led to not only as a single mom overcoming homelessness but in and out of multiple relationships and experiencing 3 divorces. These events left Jessica very vulnerable to be recruited and groomed later in life by a convicted trafficker. After 4 months Jessica ended the relationship and managed to escape just before she was trafficked. After years of no contact in 2017 the trafficker found Jessica's social media pages and continues to attempt contacting her. Her constant battle self doubt and thoughts of suicide led her to Rom 8:28 that the Lord would use her pain for the good and glory of God's Kingdom. Finding her own voice of freedom in her identity in Christ Jessica now assists other survivors and victims of violence, exploitation and trafficking find liberation and peace from bondage. One of her hardest tasks has been to prepare for the day she would have to stand firm and tell the trafficker that once try to steal her life she was not interested in what he had to offer and pray she would live through the threats and manipulation. Understanding her life is always at risk finding hope in the thought if just for one finds freedom, my journey would have found its purpose. In order to continue her purpose of speaking out against recruitment and assisting those who cry out for help, Jessica has a goal to obtain her black belt in Krav Maga. Along with leading, outreaching and mentoring in her Women's Advocacy; Jessica continues to grow the Women's Empowerment Program at her Dojo of Krav Maga and Jui Jitsu.
